Lea Maria Wittich explores questions of social and ecological justice in the coexistence of human and non-human agents through conceptual, collaborative and research-oriented works. She is interested in a diverse range of media, including clothing, text, objects, film and performance.
She studied Fashion Design at Universität der Künste Berlin and holds an MFA in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She is a PhD candidate at Bauhaus- Universität Weimar. She was artistic associate in the MFA Public Art and New Artistic Strategies and currently works as an academic associate at the chair Politics and Practices of Representation in Architecture at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
