EVIDENTIA

1980: H&M opens the first store in Germany. C&A is expanding globally. Fashion becomes cheaper and faster. We delight in consuming.

But critical voices appear. The politicized mood of the 80s makes people look for alternative systems. Their pacifist mindset evokes a refusal of the big chasm between the capitalistic USA and the socialist USSR.

They look for new systems, beyond industrial mass production, and new anthropomorphic aesthetics that visualize a humanist philosophy.

In the early nineties some of these young people decide to leave the society and form a new one, testing the alternative concepts. They go to a secret place and exclaim a new nation: Evidentia.
